🌴 AMED, BALI. 🇮🇩 If Bali had a place that felt like it was moving at a completely different pace… I think it might be Amed. Black sand and stone coral beaches. Fishing boats. Mountains dropping into the sea. Coral gardens just offshore. Tiny warungs, salty air and that feeling that you've somehow escaped the busy side of Bali. And then you look up… and this is what you see. 😍 If you're heading to Amed, here's what I'd put on your list: 🤿 Snorkel straight from the beach 🐠 Explore the Japanese Shipwreck 🌊 Visit Jemeluk Bay 🤿 Dive the USAT Liberty from nearby Tulamben 🌅 Watch the sunrise over the water ⛰️ Take in the views of Mount Agung 🛶 Get out on a traditional jukung 🍜 Eat at the little local warungs 🌴 And most importantly... slow down. 📍 Amed is on Bali's east coast and is roughly 2.5–3 hours from Seminyak/Canggu, around 2–2.5 hours from Kuta, and approximately 1.5–2 hours from Ubud, depending heavily on traffic. It's not the quickest place to get to, but that's part of the appeal. Amed isn't somewhere I'd rush through.
