Apparently turning 40 means your online shopping habits change 😂 In my 20s I was buying things for the kids. In my 30s I was buying things for the kids. In my 40s? I bought a weighted vest. Not a designer handbag. Not a fancy pair of shoes. A weighted vest 😅 And the worst part? I was genuinely excited when it arrived. I've become the kind of person who gets excited about things that improve bone density, muscle strength and getting extra exercise while walking around the house. Honestly, if you'd told 25-year-old me that one day I'd be voluntarily wearing extra weight while doing chores, she would have laughed in your face.
