How Long Does It Really Take to Get to Bali Airport? (Travel Times from Key Areas)
✈️ How long does it really take to get to Bali airport? Today it took me just 44 minutes from Sanur to Denpasar Airport… but we’ve also been stuck before and the same trip has blown out to nearly 2 hours. Traffic in Bali is unpredictable — roadworks, rain, peak hours, ceremonies — so it’s always smart to leave a buffer. Here are some average travel times to Bali airport from popular areas (in normal traffic): 🚖 Kuta / Legian: 20–30 mins 🚖 Seminyak: 35–45 mins 🚖 Canggu: 60–90 mins 🚖 Sanur: 40–60 mins 🚖 Nusa Dua / Jimbaran: 30–50 mins 🚖 Ubud: 90–120 mins ⚡ Tips to keep in mind: 🙌🏼 Add extra time if it’s raining (floods can slow everything down). 🙌🏼 Add extra time during peak hours (school runs, 7–9am & 4–7pm). 🙌🏼 Always keep a buffer if you’re flying during holidays or festivals. Getting to the airport in Bali can be quick one day and slow the next — so don’t risk a stressful dash to your gate. Give yourself breathing room, grab a coffee at the airport, and start your holiday (or your trip home) stress-free. #Bali #airport #BaliWithKids #BaliFamilyTravel #familyholiday
