We actually came here just to meet a friend for a coffee… and ended up discovering something we didn’t expect. Starbucks Dewata Coffee Sanctuary offers coffee classes where you can learn different brewing methods and taste Indonesian beans from places like Kintamani in Bali and Aceh in Sumatra. We joined the coffee flight class, which was perfect for beginners like us who are still learning to appreciate black coffee. The class walks you through brewing with a French press and pour over, explaining how each method changes the flavour of the same beans. It was relaxed, informative, and such a nice way to slow down and experience Bali’s coffee culture a little deeper. And just when we thought we were finished… we discovered there’s an entire coffee tour through the building as well.
