The Strawberry Shortcake That Took Us on a Dessert Mission in Bali
Ok, I have to tell you the story behind this strawberry shortcake because my DMs were FLOODED with “Mia, where is this cake from!?” 😂 So here’s the truth: I have a weird little habit… I scroll fruit pics on Instagram. I know, I know—who even does that? But hear me out. No bad news, no drama, just perfectly styled peaches and crisp green apples, glossy grapes and juicy mangoes. The colours, the freshness—it’s like therapy for my eyeballs 🍓🍑🍇✨ Then one day I see this cake. A strawberry shortcake that looked straight out of a magazine —fluffy sponge, whipped cream clouds, and strawberries so plump and red I could taste them. I assumed it was in Tokyo or Seoul… but then I saw it was actually in Bali. Game over. “CHAD! Pack the kids—we’ve got a dessert mission!” We tracked it down to a cute little spot in Renon, but good news—there’s also one in Seminyak if that’s closer to you. The place is called Fruit Crush and it’s honestly the perfect mix of fruit and sweets. Cute café, delicious treats, and yes—that shortcake tastes just as magical as it looks. So now you know—and don’t say I didn’t warn you: once you try it, you’ll be dreaming about it too 🍰💭💕 @fruitcrush.bali #StrawberryShortcakeDreams #FruitCrushBali #SweetToothAdventures #BaliDessertFinds #ChadAndMiaApproved #BaliCafes #BaliEats #YesThisIsCakeNotArt
