The Power of One-on-One Time: Strengthening Family Bonds in Bali

How often do you spend one-on-one time with your children? And no, I’m not just talking about a quick trip to grab milk and bread (although we’ll take quality time where we can get it!). I mean intentionally planned moments—like a picnic at the park, a walk on the beach, or just hanging out without any set agenda or expectations. Moments that are about being together, not about completing tasks. Growing up, my parents did this for me. They took the time to get to know me, just me. No siblings around, no distractions—just genuine connection. We’d go for drives, share ice creams, or simply sit and chat. Those moments are etched in my memory, not because of the activities themselves but because of the feeling of being seen, heard, and valued. Those moments built trust, created friendship, and made me feel understood. That’s what I want for our kids. To create bonds that last, trust that runs deep, and friendships that continue to grow as they do. We want them to feel safe to share their big dreams, little worries, and everything in between. To know that their voices matter and that we’re always here to listen—truly listen. And let’s be honest, in a big family like ours, that’s not always easy. But it’s important. It’s worth making time for. Whether it’s a movie date, a beach walk, or just sitting and watching the world go by, these moments matter. We get to see their unique personalities, hear their thoughts without interruption, and understand who they are as individuals. Fox and I snuck away to Clip 'n Climb for a quick date, and it had been a while since our last individual time together. Honestly, it was just what we both needed. A little adventure, a lot of laughs, and time to reconnect. So, how often do you get that one-on-one time? Is it something you’re intentional about or something you’d like to do more of? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 📍 @clipnclimb_bali #OneOnOneTime #ParentingWithPurpose #BuildingBonds #IntentionalParenting #FamilyTime #MakingMemories #GrowingTogether #ChadAndMiaOfficial #BaliFamilyLife #RaisingKidsWithLove #ParentingReflections #QualityTimeMatters #ClipnClimb
