From Dream to Download: Celebrating the BFF Milestone and Building a Bali Travel Community

Today, we celebrated. Because sometimes you need to stop and take a breath… to sit around a table, share a meal, and look at just how far you’ve come in such a short time. Two months ago, Bali Family Finds was still just a dream being built with a big heart and an even bigger hope—to help families like ours make the most of their Bali experience. Fast forward to today and we’ve grown into a real team of four, had over 5,000 users join the platform, and we’re about to go live on the App Store and Google Play. Cue the happy dances and maybe a few tears at lunch today. None of this would’ve happened without YOU—families who love Bali like we do, who want to support local businesses, explore hidden gems, and travel with more ease and connection. Here’s what we’ve been able to do (and celebrate today): 💚Created 4 jobs right here in Bali 💚Partnered with amazing family-owned Bali businesses 💚Delivered exclusive discounts for families traveling here 💚Helped thousands of users stay connected with eSIMs 💚Developed helpful features like allergy cards, countdown timers, and packing checklists 💚Gathered everything from entry requirements to local tips in one easy place, built especially for Aussie families visiting Bali But most importantly? We’re building something with heart. Something that serves real people, solves real travel problems, and lifts up this beautiful island we call home. So today, we took the BFF crew out to lunch. We’ve worked with local family-run businesses to bring you exclusive discounts, connected thousands of travelers with hassle-free eSIMs, and gathered essential travel info all in one welcoming space. But more than features, we’re building something far more meaningful: community. Bali Family Finds is a love letter to this island and the families who adore it. We’re proud to have created jobs here in Bali, supported local entrepreneurs, and started conversations that matter—with you, for you.
