One Month on HRT in Bali: What I’ve Learned So Far

One month on HRT in Bali and… wow. Let’s talk about it 😅💊 Ask me anything for the next update 👇 #HRTJourney #HormoneHealth #BaliLiving #RealTalk

One month into my HRT journey—and living in Bali while doing it—has been nothing short of transformative. If you're considering hormone therapy or simply curious about navigating wellness routines abroad, here's a candid look at what I’ve learned so far. First off, the support here in Bali is better than I expected. While Indonesia has its cultural nuances, Bali’s expat-friendly atmosphere, combined with access to both Western-trained doctors and holistic practitioners, made the initial transition smoother. I found a local clinic in Ubud that specializes in hormonal health, and their staff made me feel informed and empowered every step of the way. A big bonus? The island lifestyle naturally supports wellness. Clean eating is effortless with access to organic markets and plant-based cafés around nearly every corner. Daily walks, ocean swims, and yoga have become part of my routine—keeping both body and mind in sync during these early HRT days. That said, there were a few surprises. For one, staying on your medication schedule while frequently moving around or dealing with heat-induced brain fog takes planning. I highly recommend setting reminders and carrying a small cooler pack for any meds that need temperature control. Most of all, I’ve learned how important community is. Whether you're traveling with kids, as a couple, or solo, finding your people—online or at wellness hubs—can make this deeply personal journey feel less isolating. If you’re thinking about combining long-term travel with a new health chapter like HRT, Bali is a soft landing with room for growth. Ask me anything for next month’s update—I’m an open book. 😅💊 #HRTJourney #HormoneHealth #BaliLiving #RealTalk
