The tukang (local craftsmen) have been hard at work, fully scraping it back to the bones, patching cracks, and beginning the waterproofing process. With two more coats to go, it’s already looking so fresh that it’s drawing comments like “Are you secretly building a plunge pool?” (Honestly… not the worst idea 🤔). Once dry, our beloved koi fish—and Chips, our ever-curious turtle—will be moving back into their upgraded digs. We can’t wait to see them gliding through crystal-clear water, framed by tropical greenery and Bali’s iconic charm.
