From Sanur to Canggu, today’s homeschool was all about learning by doing — and it was the best kind of chaos.
We kicked off the morning as mad scientists, mixing, fizzing, and watching chemical reactions come to life. The giggles and gasps said it all!
Next stop: burgers for fuel, then across Canggu for our art lesson — tufting our own rug. The kids learned how art can be both beautiful and functional, plus the patience it takes to create something by hand.
After a full day of experiments, creativity, and the long drive back (2.5 hours!), we’re ready to do it all again tomorrow… maybe with a little less traffic.

<p>Who says education can’t be an adventure? Today’s homeschool day in Bali was hands-on, jam-packed, and full of excitement — the kind of chaos that inspires curious young minds.</p>
<p>We started our morning in <strong>Sanur</strong>, donning our mad scientist hats for a science session fueled by curiosity and baking soda. Bubbling reactions, fizzing colors, and wide-eyed amazement set the tone for the day. Learning is so much better when there’s foam involved!</p>
<p>After working up an appetite, we made a well-deserved burger pit stop (because nothing fuels little scientists like fries and a milkshake). Then it was off to <strong>Canggu</strong> for an afternoon of creativity at <a href="https://www.instagram.com/everytuftbali" target="\_blank">@everytuftbali</a>. The kids dove into the colorful, tactile world of rug tufting — designing, threading, and learning that art can be both expressive and practical. It was a fantastic lesson in patience, precision, and creative freedom.</p>
<p>Sure, the 2.5-hour commute made it a bit of a trek, but watching the kids light up with every new experience made it all worthwhile. We’re already dreaming up tomorrow’s adventures — preferably with a smoother route!</p>
