Well, we're back! 🎉
After a challenging week and a half of sniffles and sneezes, we're finally feeling like ourselves again. One of the great things about homeschooling is that when life throws you a curveball (or in our case, lots of vomit), you can simply hit the pause button and pick up where you left off when everyone's back on their feet.
No missed school days, no missed learnings.
Just the freedom to learn at our own pace, in our own time.
Now, speaking of homeschooling, let me share a funny moment that happened recently. We were deep in discussion about a tricky question, and in a classic 'Mama Mia' moment, I accidentally gave away the answer! 😅 It was one of those facepalm moments where I thought 'did I just say that out loud?' But you know what? It's all part of the journey. And in the end, we all had a good laugh about it.
Mistakes happen. We stumble, we trip, we accidentally blurt out the answer to a question. But that's okay. Because every mistake is a learning opportunity. Every stumble, a chance to pick ourselves up and keep going. And every wrong answer, a chance to learn the right one.
So, here's to embracing the unexpected twists and turns of homeschooling, to laughing at our mistakes and learning from them, and to the freedom to learn in our own unique way. Because in this homeschooling journey, every day is a school day - and every moment, a chance to learn something new.

Well, we’re back! 🎉 After a demanding week and a half battling sniffles, sneezes, and a little too much quality time with the couch, we’re finally feeling ourselves again. One beautiful thing about homeschooling? There’s no need to sprint to catch up when life takes a detour. Unlike traditional schooling, we hit the pause button, rest, recover, and resume right where we left off. No frantic meetings with teachers, no 'missed class handouts' – just the joy of learning at our own pace, on our own time.
But let me tell you, homeschooling is _never_ without its adventures. Case in point: in the middle of tackling a tricky question recently, I had one of those quintessential 'parent-teacher' slip-ups. Call it a 'Mama Mia' moment if you will – I accidentally _gave away the answer_! 😅 There I stood, wide-eyed, knowing I’d just surrendered the challenge. But instead of groans or grumbles, guess what? We burst out laughing. Because if there’s one thing homeschooling has taught us, it’s that mistakes are not failures – they’re life’s funniest (and sometimes most practical) teachers.
Sure, homeschooling comes with its stumbles. From misplacing a workbook to those days when motivation feels miles away, it’s not always smooth sailing. But those hiccups? They’re what make this journey uniquely ours. We steer the ship, navigate the waves, and sometimes laugh when we veer off course.
If you’re exploring the homeschooling road while traveling – even somewhere as breathtaking as Bali – remember this: it’s not about perfection. It’s about growth, resilience, and those cherished moments of discovery. Embrace every mishap and unexpected turn. Because whether it’s the stunning rice terraces of Ubud or a goofy mistake at the kitchen table, every day is an opportunity to learn, laugh, and thrive as a family. #EveryDayIsASchoolDay
