Koi Chaos in Bali: The Pond Leak Adventure Continues

Life in Bali is full of sun, ceremony, and... koi pond chaos? 😅 This week, our peaceful backyard sanctuary turned into a splashy adventure when our koi pond decided to spring yet another surprise leak. Yes — the fish relocation saga continues!

Armed with nets and more optimism than skill, we dove (not literally) into catching our koi family, who apparently spent their time since the last rescue training for the Bali Olympics. Graceful? Yes. Cooperative? Absolutely not. Who knew fish could be so fast?

After what felt like a comedic chase scene, the pond is finally emptied, the koi safely relocated (again), and everything prepped for the tukang (local workers) to do their repair magic. Here's hoping this marks the end of the Great Koi Drama of 2025!
