Medical care in Bali – here’s what we’ve learned
Living in Bali, one thing you quickly realise is that it’s worth finding a GP you trust – someone you can build a rapport with, who listens, and who makes you feel genuinely cared for.
For us, that’s Sanur Medical Clinic. They’ve been our go-to whenever we’ve needed a doctor, and I can’t speak highly enough of them. The doctors here are incredibly caring, the nursing staff are gentle and patient, and the reception team always greets you with a smile (even when you’re not feeling your best).
A standard consult is around $10 AUD – plus any testing, medication, or extras you might need – and honestly, the level of care you get feels far beyond the price.
The kids have used their clinic and their home visit service a few times recently (it’s such a relief to have that option when little ones are too sick to get out of bed), and now… it’s my turn. I guess it was inevitable after the last few weeks of playing nurse!
