After a few magical days in Kintamani, it was time to pack the car and head back to Sanur.

One of the best parts of traveling Bali by car is the freedom to explore off-the-beaten-path spots you won’t find in the travel guides. Winding through lush green valleys, passing local villages, and stumbling upon tucked-away warungs (local eateries) made the drive feel like a journey through Bali's heart. We paused at cascading waterfalls, watched rice farmers at work, and even made a spontaneous stop at a swing with a view we’ll never forget!
Road trips like these are perfect for families—no tight schedules, plenty of snack stops, and the chance to see a side of Bali that’s too often missed. And let’s be honest, after a few days without city comforts, we were all dreaming of the hot, soapy showers waiting for us in Sanur!
