Battle of the Bali Soft Serve: Momoyo vs Mixue – Who Scoops the Win?

When you visit Bali, there’s a high chance you’ll spot not one but two iconic soft-serve spots on almost every street corner — Momoyo and Mixue. Both serve up those creamy, dreamy, swirled cones and sundaes that just call to you in the tropical heat.
So obviously, in the name of science (and snacks), we knew what had to be done…
We put them to the test.

Method: Order. Taste. Giggle. Repeat.
Result: Both were cold, creamy, fruity and dangerously moreish.
Conclusion: Unclear. We need more data. Possibly chocolate next.
Okay, if we had to pick… we still wouldn’t. Because the real winner was us, getting dessert two nights in a row and calling it “content testing.”

Next: Momoyo’s Strawberry Sundae. A little more indulgent, with a thicker base and that classic strawberry syrup that feels like childhood in a cone. The flavor? Like biting into summer.
Verdict? Scientifically inconclusive. Our taste buds are still debating. Which means more taste tests might be required. Possibly in the name of chocolate variants next? We’re willing.
