Just another ‘boring’ day in KL! 🤪 Started the morning with Maccas brekkie 🍔, shared our fave iPhone travel hack for converting currency 💡, knocked out some homeschool 📚, and took a little city stroll to grab some fresh fruit 🍍. The kids tried Burger King for the first time (reviews were mixed 😂) before the rain set in for an easy dinner and early night. 🌧️ Not every day is a whirlwind, but sometimes the simple ones are just what we need. ✨ Catch this mini vlog for a glimpse into our day! 🌍✌️ #KualaLumpur #MiniVlog #HomeschoolOnTheRoad #TravelHacks #FamilyTravel #Bali #BaliLife

Not every travel day is packed with sightseeing and adrenaline-pumping adventures—and that’s the beauty of it. Yesterday in Kuala Lumpur, we embraced one of those laid-back days that every family needs from time to time. Here’s how it unfolded—and a sprinkle of travel hacks to make your own simple days a little sweeter. ✨ Our morning kicked off with a classic comfort: Macca’s brekkie. Sometimes, familiar food hits the spot when you’re far from home! Over hash browns and coffee, we shared our absolute favorite iPhone travel hack: converting currency directly in the Notes app. Just type something like “50 MYR to USD,” and voila—instant math genius. 💡 Honestly, this little tip saves us so many headaches while hopping between countries. Post-brekkie, we embraced some on-the-road homeschooling. Learning doesn’t stop just because you’re traveling, and squeezing in a solid session helps the kids keep their routines (and us our sanity). Afterward, we strolled through KL City to grab some fresh local fruit—pineapple and mangosteen were yesterday’s highlights! 🍍 Lunch was a mini culinary experiment: the kids’ first taste of Burger King. The reviews? Mixed results and lots of giggles. 😂 Like KL weather loves to do, the clouds rolled in and brought rain right on time for dinner. So, we pivoted to a cozy in-room meal and an early night. These easy, slower days are a crucial part of long-term family travel. They ground us, allow time to recharge, and let us discover small but meaningful moments—like the simple joy of sharing fresh fruit on a city stroll. 🌍 P.S. Make sure to catch our mini vlog to see these moments play out! Whether you’re navigating Bali life or exploring elsewhere, here’s to embracing every part of the journey—big and small. ✌️
