What Not to Pack for Your Bali Family Vacation

What Not to Pack for Your Bali Family Vacation

Want to travel lighter? Here’s what you can leave at home. 🧳☀️ ✔️ Towels – most villas provide beach and bath towels ✔️ Toiletries – basic brands are easy to buy here ✔️ Hair dryers – villas have them (and the humidity wins anyway) ✔️ Heavy clothes – stick to light layers, even in rainy season ✔️ Snacks – Indo minimarts have the essentials Pack smarter, not heavier. 👇 More packing tips inside the app—just comment BFF. #BaliPackingList #FamilyTravelHacks #TravelLight #BaliWithKids #BFFApp

Planning a Bali family getaway? Before you zip up that suitcase, let’s talk about what you don’t need to bring. The goal: pack light, stress less, and leave room for souvenirs. First up, **skip the towels**. Most villas and resorts provide both bath and beach towels, so save that space for extra swimsuits instead. **Toiletries?** Leave the full-size shampoo and toothpaste at home. Bali’s convenience stores – think Indomaret and Circle K – stock all the basics. You’ll find familiar brands and some fun local ones, too. **Hair dryers** are another leave-behind. Unless you’re planning editorial-style photoshoots, trust us—the humidity has its own plans. Most accommodations include hair dryers anyway, but beachy waves are basically the official Bali hairstyle. As for clothes, think **light and breezy**. Even during rainy season, Bali’s tropical weather calls for breathable fabrics. A light jacket is plenty for cooler evenings or indoor A/C. Heavy jeans? Not worth the suitcase space. Traveling with kids? Tempted to pack their entire snack stash? Don’t. Bali’s minimarts have the snack staples your little ones love – from crackers to juices – and discovering local treats can be half the fun! Remember, packing lighter means fewer bags to wrangle, less stress at the airport, and more freedom to enjoy Bali’s sun-soaked days.
