Planning Our Next Act of Vacation: Family Adventures in Bali

While Chad works hard, I’m plotting our next ‘act of vacation’—and this time, it’s Bali! 😎🌴 Because let’s be honest: planning is half the fun (especially when you get to daydream about beach sunsets while someone else is in meetings!).

Bali with kids? Absolutely! This island paradise goes beyond honeymooners and yoga retreats—it’s a family-friendly destination packed with culture, adventure, and a whole lot of sunshine. From serene rice paddies to vibrant markets, and kid-approved beach clubs to gentle snorkeling spots, Bali is a treat for all ages.

Planning a trip like this is all about teamwork—he brings in the PTO days, I bring the color-coded itinerary. 😂☀️ Together, we’re crafting a balance of chill and thrill: lounging in Uluwatu, exploring the monkey forest in Ubud, and maybe a splash at Waterbom Bali, Asia’s best water park (yes, we did our homework!).

For families heading to Bali, here are some quick tips:

• Book family villas—many come with private pools and kitchens, ideal for downtime.
• Hire a driver for easy transport (and air conditioning between stops!).
• Don’t overschedule; Bali runs on a chill vibe, and kids love spontaneous playtime.

There’s something magical about watching your kids experience the world—and Bali makes the perfect backdrop. So while Chad handles business, I’ll be here researching swings over rice fields and beachfront smoothie bowls. Someone’s gotta do the hard work, right? 😉
