Bali Zoo Day - Part 1 of 2 🐾✨
We woke up at Sanctoo Villas to some cheeky limas having a full-on disagreement outside our window 😂
Then it was off to breakfast with the orangutans – and it wasn’t just breakfast… it was animal encounter heaven! 🦧🍽️
From there, we spent the day exploring the zoo:
🐛 Fed the meerkats
🐅 Met (and fed!) Kartini the white tiger
🐒 Had limas literally climb all over us
🦜 Got smooched by Donna the bird
🦌 Fed deer, wandered the exhibitions & soaked it all in
…plus stopped for a delicious lunch in between all the fun!

Nothing says "wild wake-up call" like a lemur spat outside your villa window 😂 Our day began at the tranquil Sanctoo Villas, nestled right beside Bali Zoo – a true animal lover’s haven!
First stop? Breakfast with the orangutans – and trust us, this isn’t your ordinary morning meal. While munching on tropical fruits and sipping fresh juice, we got up-close with Bali Zoo’s playful orangutans. It’s hard to say who was more curious – them or us! 🦧🍉
Once fueled up, we stepped into a full day of up-close animal encounters that delighted both kids and grown-ups alike. The meerkats were absolute charmers – feeding time turned into a photo op extravaganza 🐾. Then came Kartini, the majestic white tiger. Yes, we got to feed her too 🐅 – safely, of course – and it was nothing short of incredible.
The lemurs weren’t done with us either. After breakfast bickering, they literally climbed all over us in their walkthrough habitat (tip: leave hats and snacks behind – they’re cheeky!). Donna the bird surprised us with a feathery kiss 💋 – definitely a highlight for the kids!
We slowed down the pace with a shaded stroll through deer habitats and other lush exhibits, taking in everything from tropical birds to reptiles. Lunch at Bali Zoo’s Savanna Restaurant offered great food and an even better view – perfect for recharging before the next adventure.
