From Sanur to Canggu, today’s homeschool was all about learning by doing — and it was the best kind of chaos.
We kicked off the morning as mad scientists, mixing, fizzing, and watching chemical reactions come to life. The giggles and gasps said it all!
Next stop: burgers for fuel, then across Canggu for our art lesson — tufting our own rug. The kids learned how art can be both beautiful and functional, plus the patience it takes to create something by hand.
After a full day of experiments, creativity, and the long drive back (2.5 hours!), we’re ready to do it all again tomorrow… maybe with a little less traffic.

We started our day in sunny Sanur, where the kids swapped pencils for pipettes in a hands-on science workshop. Laughter echoed as homemade volcanoes fizzed and colorful reactions exploded — learning through play at its best.</p>
<p>After working up an appetite, we grabbed burgers to refuel before our next stop: an artistic journey into tufting in Canggu.
