From Lost to Loved: Ned’s Journey from Bali Beach Stray to Beloved Family Dog

From Lost to Loved: Ned’s Journey from Bali Beach Stray to Beloved Family Dog

Meet Ned — our scruffy little Bali beach boy with the biggest heart (and the best overbite you’ll ever see). 🐾 Ned’s story started in a really tough place. He and his mum were dumped on the beach — both sick, weak, and left to fend for themselves. When our neighbour found them, Ned refused to leave his mum’s side. He stayed right there with her, protecting her, until she passed. Only then did he finally follow our neighbour home. 💔 Over the next few months, he was showered with love — full belly, daily walks, vet visits, vaccines, and care. He was finally safe. Then one day, we spotted him wandering down our gang, fur still patchy but eyes full of light — and that was it. We were completely smitten. It’s not unusual for our neighbour to help rehome dogs, but something about Ned felt different. Maybe it was his goofy grin, or that gentle, grateful energy. We jumped straight onto Tokopedia, ordered everything a little dog could need, and made it official — Ned was coming home with us. Six months later, our Neddie boy is thriving. He’s cheeky, cuddly, endlessly loyal, and somehow manages to make every corner of our Bali home feel warmer and more alive. He might have been thrown away once, but he’ll never, ever be unwanted again. ❤️ #AdoptDontShop #BaliRescueDog #RescueLove #BaliDogs #BaliFamilyFinds

Meet Ned — a scruffy little soul with a heart of gold and an overbite that could charm anyone. 🐶 His story began in heartbreak, dumped alongside his mum on a Bali beach, both too sick and weak to survive alone. When a kind-hearted neighbour discovered them, Ned refused to leave his mother’s side. He stayed with her until the very end. 💔 After her passing, Ned finally allowed himself to be rescued. What followed was a slow but steady journey of love and healing. With regular meals, medical care, and plenty of cuddles, Ned began to find his spark. When he showed up in our gang one day — fur still patchy but eyes bright with hope — we knew he was meant to be part of our family. Our neighbour often helps rehome stray Bali dogs, but there was something special about Ned. Maybe it was his quiet resilience, or the way he seemed to smile despite everything he’d been through. Within hours, we’d stocked up on supplies and welcomed him home. Six months on, Ned is thriving. He’s playful, affectionate, and surprisingly cheeky — often stealing slippers and hearts with equal ease. He’s a living reminder of why rescue matters, and how second chances change everything. If your family is traveling to Bali, you'll quickly see how many animals roam the streets. Supporting local rescues, donating supplies, or even adopting like we did can add a deep, meaningful layer to your travel experience. Bali isn’t just about beaches and sunsets — it’s about connection, compassion, and unexpected joy. So here’s to Ned — once lost, now deeply loved — and to the unforgettable stories that make this island truly magical. ❤️ #AdoptDontShop #BaliRescueDog #RescueLove #BaliDogs #BaliFamilyFinds
