Bali Travel Alert: Extreme Weather & Safety Updates
No video source available
⚠️ Bali, Stay Safe, Extreme Weather Update! 🚨 Bali is getting hit hard by Tropical Cyclone Seedling 96S, and it’s wild out there! We’ve got 60km/hr winds, heavy rain, flooding, and fallen trees—especially in Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud, Seminyak, and Kuta. Some places are already underwater (did you see the video of the flood rushing through a Canggu yoga class?!). The BMKG (Bali’s weather agency) is warning that extreme conditions will last from Feb 11-13, so if you’re here, be extra careful. Here’s what you need to know: 🚨 Flights: Delays, cancellations, and two international flights had to circle before landing. If you’re flying, get to the airport early and check for updates. 🚤 Boats & Ferries: Many fast boats to Lombok, Gili, and Nusa Penida are canceled. Double-check with your provider before heading to the harbor. 🌊 Beaches: The ocean is wild right now. BMKG strongly advises against swimming at Kuta, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Melasti, etc. Stick to the shore—this is not the time for a sunset dip! 🛵 Road Safety: 19+ trees have already fallen, and landslides are being reported. If you’re on a scooter, watch for debris, avoid big puddles (they’re deeper than they look), and maybe rethink non-essential trips. Bali’s weather changes fast, but right now, it’s intense. Stay dry, stay safe, and don’t take risks. If you’re out and about, let us know how it’s looking in your area! #BaliStorm #BaliFlooding #BaliTravelUpdate #StaySafeBali #BaliWeather #BaliRainySeason
