The Bali Hack That Made Brushing Teeth a Breeze

November 23, 2025

Brushing my teeth in Bali is my least favourite daily task — because you can’t use the tap water! But these little USB-rechargeable water pumps I brought from Australia have changed the game. We keep them set up around the house so everyone can quickly pump clean water for brushing teeth, taking meds, washing fruit… you name it. Simple, affordable, and honestly a lifesaver for Bali living. Sometimes it’s the tiny hacks that make life soooo much easier. 💛

Brushing your teeth in Bali sounds simple—until you remember you can’t use the tap water. 😬 Like many travelers, I found myself dreading this daily task. Bringing bottled water into the bathroom, juggling it with a toothbrush in hand, and trying not to waste a drop—less than ideal!

But then we discovered USB-rechargeable water dispenser pumps before our last trip from Australia, and wow—what a game-changer. For under $20, these little pumps fit right onto most standard water gallon bottles. With just one touch, clean water flows out effortlessly. No mess, no plastic bottles, and no more awkward pouring while half-asleep.

We now keep one in every bathroom and even in the kitchen. Whether it’s brushing teeth, taking meds, rinsing fruit, or filling up a water bottle for the day—everyone in the family can quickly and easily access safe water. Even the kids can use it on their own!

Pro tip: Bring a few extras or pick them up in Bali—they’re super handy, especially for longer stays or villa rentals that don’t come with filtered tap setups.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest hacks that make the biggest difference in daily travel life. This one? Total lifesaver. 💛

So, if you’re heading to Bali with the family, don’t forget to pack this tiny tool that makes a huge impact. Brushing your teeth might just become the easiest part of your day!
