We headed to Naughty Nuri’s in Sanur – an absolute island institution. They’ve been around for years with a few locations across Bali, and it’s easy to see why.
The food? Always delicious, quick, and easy.
The drinks? So good.
The atmosphere? Fun, lively, and perfect for families.
And the best part? The staff surprised Chad with a birthday singalong and a special dessert – had the whole restaurant joining in (check out the videos, it’s a vibe!).

Birthday dinners don’t get much better than this! 🎉 We celebrated at Naughty Nuri’s Sanur, and it was hands down one of the most memorable nights of our Bali trip. If you’re looking for a family-friendly restaurant in Bali that brings both the flavor and the fun—this is it.
Naughty Nuri’s is a long-loved institution with several locations across the island, but the Sanur spot has a special charm. The vibe is laid-back yet lively, and the open-air setup gives it that classic Bali feel. (Though there’s also an air-conditioned area if you need a break from the heat!)
The food? Consistently delicious. From juicy pork ribs to crave-worthy satay, everything came out hot and fast—perfect for dining with hungry kids. The drinks menu doesn’t disappoint either (we highly recommend the signature cocktails!).
But what truly made the night was the surprise birthday treatment. The amazing staff burst into a full-on singalong, complete with drums and cowbells, while delivering a complimentary birthday dessert to the table. The entire restaurant joined in—instantly turning dinner into a party. It was such a genuine, joyful moment that we’ll never forget.
