Day 2 of our West Bali adventure 🌴🤍 In the last-minute shuffle of changing accommodation, I’d only booked 2 nights here… but after one night, no one wanted to leave 😅 So we chatted to reception and they managed to move things around so we could stay another 2 nights 🙌 Priorities for the day 👇 Delicious breakfast ✔️ Indomaret run for snacks and drinks ✔️ Then the rain rolled in… So we slowed right down. Reading, hanging out, Lola crocheting away trying to finish her jumper so she could wear it to dinner 🧶🤍 We did sneak in a swim in the rain, but visibility wasn’t great… so it was back to books, snacks, and cosy vibes. Not the day we had planned… but one we all kind of needed. “What there is to actually do in West Bali?”, because we get asked this a lot 👀 Think snorkelling at Menjangan Island, jungle trekking, waterfalls, kayaking through mangroves, the national park, and just really slow, quiet village life away from the crowds. It’s a very different side of Bali… and that’s kind of the magic 🤍 Let’s hope the weather clears tomorrow so we can get back in the water 🌊✨
