๐ฎ๐ฉ DID YOU KNOW DENPASAR HAS TWO HUGE TRADITIONAL MARKETS CONNECTED BY A BRIDGE? ๐ Welcome to Pasar Badung and Pasar Kumbasari, two of Denpasarโs best-known traditional markets, sitting on opposite sides of the Badung River. ๐ The bridge connecting the markets makes it easy to explore both sides on foot, with the river running beneath you. ๐๏ธ Pasar Badung is known for its fresh produce, spices, flowers, food and everyday essentials, while Pasar Kumbasari is a great place to explore traditional goods, textiles, crafts and other local products. Together, they give you a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in Denpasar, far beyond the usual Bali tourist spots. We loved seeing how the markets connect, not just physically, but as part of the cityโs everyday rhythm. The people shopping, selling, working and going about their day make this such an interesting place to explore. โค๏ธ ๐ฅ This is another snippet from our Denpasar Heritage Walk on YouTube! Want to see both markets, walk across the bridge and discover more of Denpasarโs history with us? ๐๐ผ Head to our Chad & Mia YouTube channel and watch the full walking tour. ๐ฎ๐ฉ
