The Ultimate Guide to Eating in Bali with Kids: From Warungs to Bakeries
One of the best parts of visiting Bali is the food! From local warungs to beachfront restaurants, there’s something for everyone—even picky eaters. 🍽 1. So Many Options! From nasi goreng and satay to burgers and pizza, Bali has it all. We’ve found that letting the kids try one new dish while having a backup they love works best! 🍢 2. Street Food & Warungs are Safe Busy warungs are a great sign the food is fresh. We’ve had some of our best meals at tiny local spots—like the time the kids devoured fresh martabak at a night market! 🥤 3. Ice & Drinks Fresh juices and young coconuts are a must! Most restaurants use filtered ice, but if unsure, ask. 🍛 4. Portions & Sharing Some places serve huge portions, others are smaller. We love ordering different dishes to share—our kids surprisingly fell in love with tempeh! 🥭 5. Markets & Bakeries Fresh fruit from local markets is perfect for snacks, and Bali’s bakeries are next level. I’m still thinking about that warm coconut bread from a tiny Ubud bakery! Eating in Bali is more than food—it’s an experience. If you’re visiting soon, what’s on your must-try list? ⬇️ #BaliFood #EatingInBali #BaliWithKids #FamilyTravel #BaliEats #BaliFoodGuide
