Why We Prioritize Chiropractic Care as a Family Living in Bali
I’ve been seeing an osteopath or chiropractor since I was about two years old — it’s always been a part of my life. I grew up learning that knowing your body and paying attention when something feels “off” isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. In fact, fun fact (or maybe weird fact?): one of my first dates with Chad back in 2003 wasn’t dinner and a movie… it was a trip to the osteopath! I had been struggling with back pain for a while, and after my appointment, Chad (who had never been before) decided to give it a go too — and that was it, he was hooked. Ever since, it’s been something we do to keep ourselves healthy and moving well. So when we moved to Bali, one of my biggest concerns wasn’t just schools or shopping — it was, can we still access good allied health care? And the short answer is: yes! From expat-run clinics with fully qualified chiropractors and osteopaths, to incredible Indonesian-trained practitioners who come from long lines of traditional bone aligners and healers — Bali actually has a rich wellness culture. The care we’ve received here has been amazing, and I love that there are options depending on your preference and need. We go for regular “tune-ups” to keep things aligned — because let’s be honest, parenting, homeschooling, businesses, and just life can take its toll on the body. And we’re really grateful we’ve found trusted professionals here to help keep us going. So if you’re planning to stay for a while, or even if you’re just visiting and your back’s giving you grief — Bali’s got your spine covered 😉💆♀️💫 #BaliChiropractor #WellnessInBali #BaliWithKids #FamilyHealthBali #ChiropracticCare #LivingInBali #ExpatLifeBali #BaliFamilyFinds #AlliedHealthInBali #MoveWellLiveWell
