Standing at the foot of Borobudur, hand in hand with Chad while our kids explored just steps away, I felt a powerful sense of full circle. We’ve been together since 2003, and in many ways, this trip reflected our entire journey — growing, learning, and always choosing each other.
Traveling through Java, from the serenity of Borobudur to the vibrant streets of Yogyakarta, we traded screens for sunsets and routines for spontaneous laughter. We watched our children’s eyes light up with curiosity, discovering cultures they’d only read about. They tasted unfamiliar foods, snapped photos in endless rice fields, and asked questions that made us proud.
This wasn’t just a vacation — it was a shared life chapter. Together, we soaked in the beauty of Indonesia, from temple sunrises to quiet beach evenings. We slowed down, looked up, and truly saw each other.
