Having tortoises as pets teaches you a lot about life... 🐢😂 Mainly that you're never actually in a hurry. Because they definitely aren't. Every day is a lesson in patience. You can spend 10 minutes preparing the perfect salad only to watch them ignore it and wander off in the opposite direction 😅 You learn that the shortest distance between two points is apparently a 45-minute detour through the garden. And you quickly realise that a creature moving at 0.3km/h can somehow disappear completely when it's time to go back in its enclosure 👀 But honestly, they're pretty special. They remind you to slow down. To enjoy the sunshine. To appreciate the simple things. And occasionally they remind you that no matter how organised you think your day is... you're about to spend the next half hour looking for a tortoise hiding behind a pot plant 😂🤍 A mini dinosaur in your backyard... Wouldn't have it any other way 🐢✨
