Some of our favorite family moments are the ones we never planned — like this golden hour escape to Komune Bali. 🌅✨
What started as a quick post-work, post-homeschool break turned into one of those magical afternoons where time slowed down and memories took over. We arrived “just for an hour,” craving a little fresh air and open space. But between the salty breeze, those lush green lawns, and the peachy-pink sky melting into the ocean, we were hooked.
The kids kicked off their shoes and ran wild while we sipped smoothies and settled into comfy beanbags. The glow of the setting sun turned everything gold — the waves shimmering, palm trees swaying, the kind of light that makes you breathe a little deeper.
Soon, golden hour faded into starlight. We stayed for dinner (highly recommend the smoothie bowls and local dishes), took a dip in the pool as the sky dimmed, and ended the night watching a movie under the stars. Yep — Komune does that too.
