How Learning Bahasa Indonesia Deepened Our Family's Bali Adventure
Clearly my teacher and I love a good “yap” — but honestly, that’s how I learn best! Since moving to Bali with my family, I’ve made it a personal goal to really immerse myself — not just in the beaches and beautiful spots, but in the language and culture too. I’ve been taking Bahasa Indonesian classes twice a week, and the difference it’s made is incredible. My confidence is growing, I’m picking up more in conversations around me, and I feel like I’m truly connecting with this place we now call home. It’s fun, it’s challenging, and yep — it’s totally normal to see me looking confused half the time (just means I’m pushing myself!). But every class feels like a little win. If you’ve ever thought about learning Bahasa as a visitor or expat in Bali — do it! It’ll change how you experience this beautiful island. 🇮🇩 @blnbali #LearnBahasa #BahasaIndonesia #MovingToBali #LifeInBali #BaliExpatLife #BalineseCulture #BaliWithKids #LanguageLearningJourney #BaliTips #BaliForFamilies #BahasaClassBali #BaliLife #ChadAndMiaOfficial #BaliFamilyFinds #BaliExpatFamily
