THE ROADS CAN CHANGE SO QUICKLY. 🇮🇩 One minute you're winding through the mountains with green rice fields, misty air and everything lush and wet... 🌿🌧️ Then you start heading back towards the more touristy areas and suddenly... ☀️ Hotter 🏘️ Busier 🚗 More traffic 🛵 More scooters 😅 And very quickly... macet sekali! For anyone learning Indonesian, macet means traffic jam, and macet sekali is basically VERY traffic jammed. 😂 It's one of my favourite things about driving around Bali. You can leave the cool, quiet mountains and within a couple of hours find yourself right back in the chaos.
