One thing no one tells you about Bali… electricity isn’t always “set and forget” 😅 When we first moved over and checked into our villa for a month, everything was going great… until suddenly the power just went off 👀 No warning, no outage… just us realising we’d run out of electricity Welcome to prepaid power in Bali Most villas use a system called listrik, where you top up your electricity like credit on your phone And at the time… we had no idea what that meant 😂 So off we went to Indomaret, trying to figure it out over the counter, topping up credit and learning very quickly how it all works Now it’s so easy, we just use apps to top up in seconds… But that first time after moving over? Definitely a learning curve 😅 One of those little Bali things you don’t expect… but quickly get used to 👌
