❤️ One thing we've noticed about having four kids... Chad and I both grew up in families with three kids. And while we loved our childhoods, there was one thing we both remember... there always seemed to be someone left out. Whether it was the car, a board game or just deciding who teamed up with who, someone was usually the odd one out. Now, watching our own four kids, we've noticed something different. There always seems to be a buddy. The pairings are constantly changing too. One day it's the oldest and youngest, the next it's the middle two, then suddenly it's a completely different combination. They drift between each other so naturally. Of course they still argue. They annoy each other, steal snacks and somehow all want the same seat in the car. But there's almost always someone to walk with, someone to sit next to and someone to laugh with. It's one of those little things we never expected to notice, but now we see it all the time. Maybe it's just our family, maybe other families experience it differently, but it's been something we've really appreciated watching as they've grown.
