🌴 OUR LAST DAY IN AMED... AND OF COURSE, IT ENDED WITH A STORY. 😂 We started our final morning nice and early with breakfast at Om Karma Cafe before heading off to Lipah Beach 🌊 We stopped for a cuppa at the Vienna Beach Hotel and then swam out from there for a little morning snorkel and swim. Then it was back to the villa to pack up, load the car and start the drive home to Sanur. 🚗 But instead of taking the quickest route, we decided to take some of the beautiful roads through East Bali and just enjoy the drive. We stumbled across a stunning little spot for lunch, followed the roads through the countryside and eventually popped out around Manggis, then past Goa Lawah and onto the home stretch. And then... just when we thought our little Amed adventure was over... 🐈 A CAT HAD FALLEN THROUGH OUR MANHOLE! 😂 Yep. We got home to find a very confused little cat who had somehow managed to fall down into the space below. Thankfully, we were able to get him out safely and reunited with the neighbours, and all was well in the end. ❤️ Because apparently no Bali road trip is complete without at least one completely unexpected plot twist. 😂 Three days of beaches, swimming, good food, beautiful roads and slow mornings...
