Period Care in Bali: What Women Need to Know Before You Go
Let’s talk periods in Bali — what to know before you go! Ladies, if you’re heading to Bali and wondering what period care looks like here, here’s the lowdown: 💛Pads are easy to find at all major supermarkets (like Pepito, Indomaret, or Guardian). They carry familiar brands like Laurier, Charm, and Kotex. 💛Tampons are harder to find and usually only available in expat areas or pharmacies — and often just the basic kind (not many applicator options and they can be very expensive) 💛If you use a menstrual cup, you’re all set! Just be mindful of access to clean water when emptying/cleaning it if you’re out and about. 💛Bring what you love from home if you’re particular about your products — especially if you use organic pads, specific tampon types, or period undies. 💛In hotter weather, staying hydrated and comfortable during your cycle is key — we recommend carrying wipes and a water bottle in your day bag.
