We discovered something on this trip that made us laugh more than expected 🤍 A simple deck of cards… and the realisation that you can actually play solitaire in real life 😅 One of the kids said it would be fun “if we could play it like on the computer”… not realising that’s exactly where the game came from. I don’t know how we missed this with the younger ones. The big boys already knew, but watching Lola and Fox figure it out felt like one of those little core memory moments. We played game after game up in the mountains, slow afternoons, cool air, just sitting together working it out. And when we got home… we kept it going. It’s funny how something so simple can turn into such a special moment. No screens, no rush, just time together. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that end up meaning the most!
