Is street food safe in Bali? 🤍 Short answer… yes, it can be. But like anywhere, you just need to use a bit of common sense 👀 Some of our favourites that we keep going back for: • Martabak (both sweet and savoury) • Terang bulan • Roti bakar • Sate (so good) • Fresh juices Things we always look for 👇 • Busy stalls with high turnover • Food cooked fresh in front of you • Clean prep areas (as much as possible) • Locals eating there (always a good sign) • Bottled or filtered water used for drinks If something doesn’t feel right… just skip it. And if you’re not comfortable trying street food, that’s completely fine too. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafés to enjoy instead 🤍 But honestly… some of the best food in Bali is found right on the street 😅
