Our final day on the Sanur to Amed road trip packed in everything we love about Bali: sunrises, beaches, coffee, and the kind of backroads detour that turns into a highlight. The kids had us up by 5:30am, and by 7 we were caffeinated and happily munching brekkie at the cozy Om Karma Café (@omkarmacafebali). With the sunrise casting a gentle glow over Amed, it was the perfect way to start the day. Next up: an early snorkel at Lipah Beach, where the calm waters and vibrant reefs kept everyone entertained — big kids and little fins alike. The views were good enough to pull out the drone, and the lunch? Simple, local, and delicious. We cruised through Manggis with those golden fields in our rearview, our rental car finally humming back into Sanur just in time for an… unexpected turn of events: a cat fell through our bathroom ceiling.
