🌅 SUNSET IN LOVINA, NORTH BALI 🐬 There’s something about Lovina that just feels a little different. It’s quieter, slower and a world away from the busier parts of Bali. Sitting here as the sun goes down, watching the colours change over the water, you can really see why people fall in love with the north. ❤️ Pantai Lovina is famous for its black volcanic sand, calm waters and dolphins, with early morning dolphin trips being one of the area's biggest attractions. 🐬 But honestly, I think Lovina is worth visiting even if you don't get up at 5am to go looking for dolphins. 😂 The Lovina coastline stretches for more than 8km through several coastal villages, including Kaliasem, Kalibukbuk, Anturan and Tukad Mungga. It's also a completely different experience from the beaches around Seminyak, Canggu and Kuta. Think: 🌴 slower mornings 🌊 calm ocean 🐬 dolphins at sunrise 🌅 beautiful sunsets 🖤 volcanic black sand 🍜 little local warungs 🚗 plenty of exploring around North Bali And there is SO much more to see around this part of the island too, from waterfalls and hot springs to temples, mountains and beautiful little villages. We spent several days exploring Lovina recently and honestly, I think North Bali deserves a spot on more people's itineraries.
