🎂 THIS IS WHAT WE'D RATHER GET FOR OUR BIRTHDAYS...🌴❤️ Every year there's always the question of what to buy. But these days, we'd much rather have an experience together than another thing sitting around the house. So for Chad's birthday, we packed up the whole family and headed north for3 nights in Lovina. And honestly... that sounds like a pretty good birthday present to us. 😂 We stayed at The Hideaway Bali and spent our days exploring, eating, swimming and just enjoying being together. Our little birthday getaway looked something like this... 🌴 Exploring Pantai Lovina and watching the sunset 🛕 Visiting Brahmavihara Arama 🍰 Birthday cake at Buda Bakery 🐬 An early morning boat trip where we saw dolphins AND bioluminescent plankton sparkling in the water ✨ 🌊 Beach time, swimming and massages ☕️ Coffee and exploring at Secret Garden Village 🐒 A stop at Sangeh Monkey Forest on the way home Three nights. A LOT of driving. A lot of food. A lot of swimming. A few tired kids. A very happy birthday boy. And a whole lot of memories. ❤️ Because this is what we're trying to collect these days. Memories, not things. The kids might not remember every present we could have bought, but hopefully they'll remember piling into the car together, exploring somewhere new, laughing over dinner, watching dolphins at sunrise and having adventures with Mum and Dad.
