✈️ Worried about how long it will take to get to Bali Airport? We decided to actually time our airport run from Sanur to Denpasar International Airport because one thing we've learnt living here is that travel times can vary A LOT depending on where you are on the island and, more importantly, what time of day you're travelling. The same journey can look completely different at 7am compared to 5pm. 😅 If you're worried about getting to the airport on time, here's a little trick we use: 📍 Open Google Maps on the same day of the week you're planning to travel. ⏰ Check it around the same time of day you expect to leave. 🚗 Put in your hotel/villa and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and check the estimated travel time. It won't guarantee your journey time, because Bali loves to keep us on our toes 😂. Ceremonies, road closures, accidents, rain and local events can all change things quickly. But it will give you a much better rough idea of what traffic is normally like at that time. And when in doubt... give yourself extra time. Sitting at the airport with a coffee is a whole lot nicer than watching the departure board while stuck in traffic. 😂✈️
