Crossing the Iconic Yellow Bridge: A Quick Guide from Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Ceningan

Can you walk the Yellow Bridge between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan? YES! 🚶♀️🌉 It took me about 1 minute and 30 seconds, and that was with plenty of time to take in the views! There are no cars on either island, but some resorts have small trucks to pick you up from the harbor. If you're staying on Nusa Ceningan, you'll need to walk across the bridge and hop on another truck to reach your accommodation. 🏝️ Have you crossed the Yellow Bridge before? Let me know! ⬇️ #NusaLembongan #NusaCeningan #YellowBridgeBali #BaliIslandHopping #BestOfBali
Looking for a fun and easy Bali island-hopping adventure with the family? One of the most charming experiences awaits just off the southeastern coast at the iconic Yellow Bridge—a bright, cheerful walkway connecting the tranquil islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. 🚶♀️🌉
Yes, you can absolutely walk across this famous bridge! Stretching over tranquil turquoise waters, the Yellow Bridge (also known as the "Bridge of Love") takes only about 1.5 minutes to cross on foot—even less if you're not stopping every few steps to admire the panoramic views. But we recommend soaking it all in slowly. The breeze, the boats below, and the sweeping skyline create the perfect photo moment, so bring your camera! 📸
There are no cars on either island, making this a stress-free, pedestrian-friendly option for families. Resorts typically use small trucks or scooters to pick up guests from the harbor, and if your accommodation is on Nusa Ceningan, it’s a quick walk across the bridge followed by a short ride to your stay. It’s all part of the island’s laid-back charm. 🏝️
The Yellow Bridge is more than just a mode of connection—it's a must-visit photo stop and a delightful symbol of your Bali exploration. Whether you’re chasing sunsets or just taking a casual stroll, this short but memorable crossing adds a touch of magic to your day.
Travel tip: The bridge can get a bit busy during midday, so plan your crossing in the early morning or late afternoon for a quieter experience and golden-hour lighting.
Ready to cross the Yellow Bridge? Make sure it’s part of your family’s Nusa Lembongan itinerary. 🌞 #NusaLembongan #NusaCeningan #YellowBridgeBali #BaliIslandHopping #FamilyTravel
