Walking the Yellow Bridge in Nusa Lembongan: What You Need to Know
Loading video player...
Can you walk across the Yellow Bridge in Nusa Lembongan? 🌉🚶♀️ Yes! It took me around 1 minute and 30 seconds, but it’s a very narrow bridge, and you’ll be dodging motorbikes the whole way. No cars are allowed on either Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Ceningan, but some resorts have small trucks to help you get from the harbor to the bridge—then you’ll need to walk across and hop on another truck to reach your destination, especially if you’re staying on Ceningan. Would you walk it or take a bike? 🚲👇 #YellowBridgeBali #NusaLembongan #NusaCeningan #BaliTravelTips #BaliWithKids
**Walking the Famous Yellow Bridge in Nusa Lembongan**
If you're planning a trip to Bali and exploring the Nusa Islands, the iconic Yellow Bridge is a must-visit. Connecting Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, this narrow suspension bridge is one of the most picturesque spots in the area. But can you walk across it? Absolutely!
The bridge is only wide enough for pedestrians and motorbikes, making for an exciting and slightly adventurous crossing. It takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds to walk across, but be prepared to share the space with a steady stream of motorbikes. While no cars are allowed on either island, some resorts use small trucks to shuttle guests from the harbor to the bridge—after that, it’s up to you to cross on foot or hop on another transport on the other side.
For families traveling with kids, walking across can be a fun experience, but be mindful of the passing bikes. Hold little hands tight and stick to the side to stay safe. If you're carrying luggage, you might find it easier to arrange for a scooter taxi or resort transport rather than navigating the narrow walkway with bags in tow.
Whether you choose to walk or ride a bike, the views from the bridge are stunning, with turquoise waters below and lush island scenery all around. Plus, it’s a great spot for photos—just step aside to let the bikes pass before snapping that perfect shot!
Would you dare to walk it, or would you take a bike? 🚲 Let us know in the comments!
