A huge thank you to Pak Herman from @gojekindonesia for being today’s Indonesian teacher. ❤️🇮🇩 What started as a one-hour car ride turned into one of my favourite conversations in Indonesian so far. Thank you for being so patient while I searched for words, waited for my brain to catch up and listened to my very imperfect sentence structure. 😂 People often ask me how I’ve learnt Indonesian, and honestly, it’s conversations like these that have helped me the most. To every Grab and Gojek driver who’s happily chatted with me over the years, corrected my pronunciation, taught me new words and encouraged me to keep trying… terima kasih banyak. You may not realise it, but you’ve all played a part in helping me build the confidence to speak a language that once felt impossible. One conversation at a time. ❤️ Sudah benar, Pak Herman?
