People often ask me how I find the time to learn Indonesian. The honest answer? I don't really have the time... I make the time. I've been learning on and off for a little over a year now, usually just one hour a week. Between homeschooling four kids, running our home, creating content and building Bali Family Finds, that's realistically all I can fit in. Could I learn faster if I studied every day? Absolutely. But I've learnt that consistency beats perfection. One hour a week is still 52 hours a year. Every lesson gives me a little more confidence to order food, chat with locals, understand conversations and feel more connected to the place we now call home. I'm still making mistakes. I still forget words. I still mix things up. But every week I know a little more than I did the week before. And for me, that's enough. ๐ค๐ฎ๐ฉ Has there been something you've wanted to learn but kept telling yourself you don't have enough time? Maybe this is your reminder that even one hour a week can change a lot. โค๏ธ
