We could see where the water was getting in during the season, but actually getting a tukang has been another storyβ¦ and you need dry weather for waterproofing to even work, which adds another layer to it all. Living in a long-term rental here can be a bit of a grey area too. Depending on your agreement, some things fall to the ownerβ¦ and some things you just end up taking care of yourself to get it sorted. And once itβs in, itβs not just the damageβ¦ itβs the damp smell, the mould, the peeling paint. Itβs one of those things you need to stay on top of quickly. So now we waitβ¦ still trying to lock in a tukang before the next rain rolls through π€ Bali lifeβ¦ always something π
